Cozumel has the second largest coral reef in the world. We take the ferry from Playa del Carmen, and upon arrival we board a vessel with a specialized marine biology guide.

We visit three reefs in one day: Palancar with its impressive formations, Colombia famous for its biodiversity, and El Cielo, that sandbar where giant starfish swim in shallow water.

Between reefs, fresh meal with local fish, ceviche and drinks. It's one of those days that makes you understand why people return to Mexico just for the Caribbean.
